The palace, located right behind the Basilica of Santa Maria della Salute, was purchased in a state of neglect by Countess Cicogna Volpi, who entrusted the entire architectural
project to the surrealist painter, architect and set designer Fabrizio Clerici, in 1950. Clerici himself involved artists such as Spadini or Von Gugel in the project, thus giving life to
an unique object of its kind, now the headquarters of the CIF Srl. Forms and colours show a style that recalls the twentieth century Art Nouveau and the Venetian baroque.

Marble inlays, an entirely painted elevator, secret passageways, mosaic terraces, stucco-work on walls and ceilings and a totally unexpected garden hosting three androgynous caryatids, four ceramic Moors and decorated benches are just some of the works that can be found.
