The building is located in Santa Croce, overlooking Rio Marin. Being made of exposed bricks, the façade object of the restoration does not have a covering on the ground floor. On the two upper floors it is covered with white marmorino dating back to an intervention of the 90s. The stone decorative apparatus consists of cornices, parapets and just under 40 faces between the cornice and those above the arches.
The intervention involved the main façade, which had already been restored in the 90s. The marmorino plaster was in appalling conditions. It was covered in a very dark organic patina, so the most important phase of the intervention consisted in the demolition and reconstruction of the exterior plaster with natural materials. As regards the stone and the bricks on the ground floor, a purely conservative intervention was carried out.
