The Doge’s Palace is one of the most iconic locations in Venice, former residence of the Doge and of the state magistrates. Our work concerned the rooftop elements (battlements, spiers, tabernacles and a window frames); the tiled facade in Istrian stone, and the stone frames of the mullioned windows of one of the facades overlooking the internal courtyard.

The planning not only involved the conservative restoration of individual elements, but also an in-depth diagnostic campaign, including a pilot site for the analysis of materials,
deterioration issues and intervention methods. The construction management was carried out in cooperation with Studio Torsello for the architectural part and Boaretto engineering studio for the structures. Following the job assignment, our role of construction management began in March 2022 and is currently in progress.
